Achieve COVID-19 – Outpatient Safety Practices
Achieve COVID-19 Patient & Staff Safety Precautions
All employees and clients prior to start have temperature monitored in entry or doorways (when supplies become available) and are restricted if temperature is over 100 degrees or answer yes to any of the following questions:
Recent travel
Exposure to a person with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis in the last two weeks
New or worsening cough
Sore throat
Shortness of Breath
When possible, only one client attends an in-person visit at each clinic at a time. If more than one is in session, appointments are staggered so clients are not in proximity of each other. We allow no wait times as clients are immediately escorted to a private patient room after initial screening.
Achieve asks that no visitors accompany patients – only parents of minors as needed.
Achieve requires all staff to wear cloth masks and kindly requests all clients wear masks as well. For clients without access to masks, they will be issued as supplies become available to us.
To reduce points of contact in the clinic, when possible and weather permitting, outer doors remain open to improve air flow.
Achieve has significantly increased our disinfection frequency:
Every surface of every private room is cleansed with antibacterial products following every patient treatment prior to a new arrival.
Common area exercise equipment is thoroughly wiped with antibacterial product after each use.
Achieve has increased the frequency of disinfection of common areas and bathrooms.
Achieve has increased the number of stations of hand sanitizer that is available for both patients and staff.
